Despite the poor weather forcast, team Canada placed well at the end of day 1.
We were able to cover a little under 80km by a combination of hiking and 2 flights.
Even though everyone knew it was going to be a poor forcast the pace was still set really high and were happy with the decisions we made and the pace we set for ourselves.
We’re currently not expecting much for day 2 weather-wise, but we’ll see what we can do with it!
