We are sad to report that French athlete Léo Béard and his father Jean Christophe have had to withdraw from the 2026 X-Pyr.
Léo has had some persistent health problems and this prevented him from undertaking the high level of physical training required for this event.
He will be replaced by former French national team member in freestyle skiing Florian Serra, a fellow French athlete who partipated in the 2024 edition. Florian will be supported by Andy Tallia.
Having made it to the Vall de Nuria turnpoint in the last edition, they are even more hungry to get to the sea.
