When and why did you start paragliding?
I started flying in 2015 out of curiosity and because I met a girl I liked who taught me.
Why have you applied to participate in the X-Pyr?
Because to hike and fly the all the Pyrenees from the ocean to the sea in the fastest way possible is very exciting.
Why are you attracted to hike & fly?
I love to be in the mountains and in the air and I love to travel and explore the world just using natural energy.
What is your greatest sporting success (flying or not flying)?
8th place in Paragliding World Cup Asian Tour
What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
The wilderness of the Pyrenees and hike and fly with some of the best athletes in the world of this discipline.
What is your best result in a H&F competition so far?
3rd overall in the Italian league.
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
I haven’t flown there, but I have been a supporter at X-Pyr once.
What does your typical training week consist of?
4 days hike and fly, 2 days gym and flying as much as possible.
What worries you the most about the event?
Being able to recognise and respect my limits.
Personally, how do you feel differently when you participate in H & F races in comparison to XC competitions?
In hike and fly it’s more a trip and adventure, I feel more connection with nature. XC comps look more like a sprint in the arena.
How do you know your supporter? And have your worked as athlete/supporter before?
Amir is a friend, I met him doing sports with friends and in the last years he started flying and he is really excited about the flying world and learning as much as possible.
I have done supporter in 3 hike and fly comps
What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
How to read the weather forecast in the area?
