When and why did you start paragliding?
I started paragliding in 2020, right after the COVID lockdown.
Why have you applied to participate in the X-Pyr?
I love pushing myself to my limits and the -Pyr is by far the biggest sporting challenge of my life. I can’t wait to discover Pyreenees and give all I have to stay at the head of the race.
Why are you attracted to hike & fly?
I love the freedom that hike & fly gives. Starting the day from home, climb my favorite mountain, fly hundreds of kilometres and come back at night is the thing I love the most in the world.
What is your greatest sporting success (flying or not flying)?
Probably the second place at Bornes to Fly ahead of Chrigel!
What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Pushing my limits, giving the best of myself and to share a unique adventure with all the athletes.
What is your best result in a H&F competition so far?
Second place in the French Hike & Fly Championships 2025.
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
Never!
What does your typical training week consist of?
I run around 55km and 4000m elevation per week including trail running, hike and fly and running on the road with the bag!
What worries you the most about the event?
Not worried about anything.
Personally, how do you feel differently when you participate in H & F races in comparison to XC competitions?
It’s very different, during XC competitions, it’s always a lot of waiting time at the take-off and very short tasks around 3h. During Hike and Fly competitions, I love the fact that we are constantly active, running and flying all day long, using most of what the weather can bring us.
How do you know your supporter? And have your worked as athlete/supporter before?
Yeah I know them really well, we are friends for almost 10 years now and I know they’ll be the perfect support for me in this race.
What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
Share with me the best routes !!!
