What do you like about the X-Pyr that keeps you coming back for more?
Uncomplicated competition, breathtaking scenery with maximum variety of flying skills.

How is the X-Pyr different from other H&F competitions you have taken part in?
It’s Not in the Alps🫣

How was your race in your previous edition(s)?
The good flying conditions from day 3 onwards were a real joy🤗

What was the best thing that happened to you in your last X-Pyr?
The good flying conditions from day 3 onwards were a real joy🤗

What was the worst thing that happened to you in your last X-Pyr?
Nothing happened, not even damage to the equipment, but when I made a glide into an unlandable area after the thunderstorm on day 4 and landed on a fenced-in mini terrace.

What did you learn during the previous edition(s)?
Don’t Push too much on day 1&2. The race is longer…

If you could have input into the route, what would you suggest to the organisation?
I am sure Inigo will do a great job.

What changes have you made to your equipment for this edition?
Started to work with PHI and work my own equipment.

Apart from flying far and walking little, what will your strategy be during the race?
Work smart, take the time you need for good decisions .

What three pieces of advice would you give to Rookies in the race?
There’s a reason you’re here. Believe in yourselves, make your own decisions, and have fun.

What about your training? How many hours do you fly a year?
Less than in previous years, as other projects are currently underway. But hopefully enough for a solid race.

How do you know your supporter? And have you worked as athlete/supporter before?
My sister was also there as a supporter at the X-Alps; she is my best training partner and a very motivated and talented pilot.

Anything else you like to comment?
I hope for nice flying conditions and an amazing race.

Without them, the X-Pyr wouldn't exist.
