What is your greatest sporting success?
Surely being able to transform my passion for the mountains into work by becoming a mountain guide. And my bivouac flight of over 600km in 4 days, from Monte Rosa to Slovenia. A magnificent adventure!

When and why did you start paragliding?
I started flying in 2016 because the idea of going down from the mountains by flying instead of on foot seemed extraordinary to me, but then I discovered that I could also fly there and it was love.

What is your mountaineering experience?
In the Alps I have climbed a lot on Mont Blanc, on the Cervini and sup Monte Rosa, my home mountains.

What does your typical training week consist of?
It depends on the season and where my work takes me, but luckily, having the mountains as an office doesn’t weigh on me. The goal is always to struggle, both on skis and on foot but always with an eye towards the sky.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
I have the best from the period when I was training to become a guide, where every day I was with my friends, sleeping where it happened with many goals. Luckily I haven’t had any momments to forget yet, let’s hope it continues like this.

Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
First because it is an excuse and an opportunity to come and fly in the Pyrenees which I have been thinking about for a long time, and then it seems to me a race in which to test yourself seriously and also think about future goals.

Have you participated in the X-Pyr before? How was it?
No, never. It’s my first competition.

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? What do you think about them?
No, never.

What will your strategy be during the race?
Have fun and above all have fun.

What excites you most about the X-Pyr?
I am very excited about the idea of participating in a competition of this difficulty with the best h & f pilots in the world, I can’t wait.

What scares you the most about the event?
The initial run on the sand with plastic bags on my feet, I hate running with a backpack.

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Because he’s a friend and he knows what nonsense I’m capable of.

Anything else you like to comment?

Without these guys we would not have the race.
