What is your greatest sporting success?.
1st place X-Pyr 2012 / Participation in the X-Alps 2013
When and why did you start paragliding?
Because flying was my dream.
What is your mountaineering experience?
What does your typical training week consist of?
Going for a run in my mountain environment several times a week and flying whenever possible.
What are your best and worst sporting memories?.
The best ones are winning the X-Pyr 2012 and participating in the X-Alps 2013. I don’t have any particular bad sporting memories.
Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
Because it is the “race in our own backyard”, the one I have known since its origin and of which I feel part. This year marks 10 years since the first edition and I am proud to be able to participate once again. It is an impressive race for the philosophy and the route, mountains and flying, adventure and nature… freedom.
Have you participated in the X-Pyr before? How was it?.
I have participated in the 2012, 2014 and 2016 editions. The experience was fantastic.
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? What do you think about them?.
Yes, many times, and I love it.
What will your strategy be during the race?
Try to fly as often as possible and avoid getting stuck at some point.
What excites you most about the X-Pyr?
Flying, mountains, nature, adventure, self-improvement and freedom.
What scares you the most about the event?.
Harsh flying conditions. That’s where you have to keep a cool head.
Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Because he is my best friend.
