What is your greatest sporting success?
Winning the Superfinal
When and why did you start paragliding?
In 2005, when I was 13. Because my dad was flying and I was just waiting to be the legal age and the the minimum weight to start flying.
What is your mountaineering experience?
Basically H&F in the Alps, some ski touring, and trail running races. Not much but enough for H&F races
What does your typical training week consist of?
It’s adaptable regarding the final goal. But basically 15h of endurance training on a normal week + flying whenever the weather is good.
What are your best and worst sporting memories?
Best: reaching Monaco in 2019 during the Xalps with the team.
Worst: day 8 of the Xalps 2021
Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
Because it is the best H&F event together with the X-Alps. The Pyrenees are even wilder. And I still like the idea to cross a massif this way, from one side to the other one.
Have you participated in the X-Pyr before? How was it?
Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? What do you think about them?
I know some parts yes, with the X-Pyr but I was also in high school in Font-Romeu (east part of the Pyrenees). I’ve competed also many times in Val Louron, Luchon etc. Wild is probably the best definition
What will your strategy be during the race?
Trusting my choices.
What excites you most about the X-Pyr?
To race again in this environment.
What scares you the most about the event?
Not much, or like always: being reasonable when risk isn’t worth it.
Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Still have to decide who is coming with me this time. I hope Jérémie will be back, maybe Nans also. But I know it has been a lot of investment for them all over last years.
