What is your greatest sporting success?
2017 FAI World Champion and 2018 PWCA Super Final winner.

When and why did you start paragliding?
I started around the age of 12, in 1998, my father was a paraglider and he made me try.

What is your mountaineering experience?
I have always lived in the middle of the mountains in the Pyrenees, from a very young age I have played with nature and the mountains, ski, ski touring, Via Ferrata, mountain biking, trail running and mountaineering.

What does your typical training week consist of?
A week of training is trail, mountain bike, hike and fly and flight. I always try to do a lot of elevation and descent while flying.

What are your best and worst sporting memories?
There are so many good memories, cross-country, competitions, hike and fly…I think I have so many good memories with paragliding that I don’t have any bad ones.

Why did you choose the X-Pyr?
I find it great to have a competition of this level so close to my home and the sporting challenge that goes with this X-Pyr really attracted me.

Have you participated in the X-Pyr before? How was it?
Unfortunately no, in 2020 I registered but it was cancelled.

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? What do you think about them?
NO 😉 Of course, I learned to fly in the Pyrenees and I fly 80% of my time in the Pyrenees. It’s the best place in the world 😉

What will your strategy be during the race?
I don’t really know, what is certain is that I would give everything to get to the end!

What excites you most about the X-Pyr?
The adventure, the race, the team…everything.

What scares you the most about the event?
The weather, I know the Pyrenees and sometimes the weather can be complicated.

Why will he/she make a good assistant?
Because he flies and has a lot of experience of effort management on long races.

Anything else you like to comment?
I am looking forward to the start, 2 years I have been preparing for this moment.

Without these guys we would not have the race.
