When and why did you start paragliding?
At 2 doing tandem and ground-handling, first solo flight at 10.

Why have you applied to participate in the X-Pyr?
To get back to the Pyrenees after spending 2 years in Font Romeu, to participate in a long race, and definitely a hard one regarding the weather. And maybe for some other projects in the next year.

Why are you attracted to hike & fly?
I love to fly, finding wild take-offs, optimising as much as possible, and also because I love to hike and run (when its not too long).

What is your greatest sporting success (flying or not flying)?
Racing in the World Cup, or maybe being the first to win the hike and fly championship.

What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Reaching the beach, flying around Font Romeu; the Spanish thermal conditions.

What is your best result in a H&F competition so far?
1st at the Bornes to Fly

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
Yes of course, in Font Romeu. I hope we can go to the Spanish south face of the Pyrenees.

What does your typical training week consist of?
Running, trail running, and flying (eating a lot).

What worries you the most about the event?
The road and the weather on the 3 first days.

Personally, how do you feel differently when you participate in H & F races in comparison to XC competitions?
Enjoying every kind of condition, not only the good ones, taking the best from every day.

How do you know your supporter? And have your worked as athlete/supporter before?
Yes, I know him really well.

What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
How slow should we start on the first 3 days ?

Anything else you like to comment?

Without them, the X-Pyr wouldn't exist.
