When and why did you start paragliding?
I started paragliding in 2018. Amazing people and great instructors were key. I felt that flying helped me gradually realise my full potential as a human and become more alive.

Why have you applied to participate in the X-Pyr?
Because it is one of the most fascinating challenges in our sport, combining the toughness of the Pyrenees with the epic experience of crossing them from sea to sea. The X-Pyr is a dream of adventure coming true.

Why are you attracted to hike & fly?
Hike & fly is the perfect synergy between physical challenge, deep immersion in mountain terrain, and connection to the air. I admire its high complexity due to its many variables.

What is your greatest sporting success (flying or not flying)?
Winning the Sport category of the Spanish National Cross-Country League in Tenerife in 2024 was a great moment. Standing first on the podium between two men was symbolic, as it reflected the level I aim for. I’m working to make that image a regular one.

What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Sharing such a wild and transformative adventure with an amazing team, and through that journey of growth, becoming a stronger and more complete version of myself.

What is your best result in a H&F competition so far?
I have won several H & F competitions in the female category, but I’m especially proud of finishing 4th overall at the Pyrenees Air Tour 2025. Competing at the front beyond gender categories is where I truly want to be.

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
Yes, I have mostly flown in the Catalan Pyrenees, which makes sense since I live in Barcelona and train regularly with the Catalan Hike & Fly Team. I love the alpine character of the central Pyrenees. The western Pyrenees are still quite new to me, and I’m glad to explore them more deeply this year thanks to the race.

What does your typical training week consist of?
From Monday to Friday, after finishing work, I combine cardio, strength, and interval training. On weekends and holidays I enjoy longer sessions outdoors, ideally hike & fly. If the weather doesn’t allow flying, I go running or ski touring.

What worries you the most about the event?
Safety is my top priority. Also, I want every member of our team to truly enjoy the experience. Then, I want to make sure to always transform fatigue into endorphins and into hunger to push further.

Personally, how do you feel differently when you participate in H & F races in comparison to XC competitions?
They are complementary and both essential for a pilot’s development. H&F races can be exhausting, since they require huge physical effort and a lot of logistics too. In XC competitions, I sometimes miss that dynamism, but they are a great opportunity to focus purely on flying performance.

How do you know your supporter? And have your worked as athlete/supporter before?
Celsa and I met about two years ago in Ager. She is a super motivated pilot, and we quickly became very good friends!
It’s our first time teaming up in H&F 🤝🏼

What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
I would ask them how they keep motivation high during a full week of pushing at the limit, how they mentally handle mistakes and stay resilient.

Anything else you like to comment?
This is a long-term vision: I hope this is the first of many X-Pyr participations!
And importantly, I hope to see more and more women joining future editions.
Proudly carrying three flags: Italy, Spain, and Catalunya

Without them, the X-Pyr wouldn't exist.
