When and why did you start paragliding?
I started flying at the start of 2022. I always did a lot of hiking and sports in the mountains from a young age. When I saw paragliding I understood that’s how to not walk down!

Why have you applied to participate in the X-Pyr?
I have lots of passion for mountains and adventures. When I heard about x-pyr I thought it would be a really cool adventure and the best way to fully explore the Pyrenees. Having goals are important and this was a big one.

Why are you attracted to hike & fly?
Hike and fly unlocks new lines and new possibilities. It’s the true freedom of flight

What is your greatest sporting success (flying or not flying)?
So far my greatest success has been winning the female category at Bornes to fly 2026 in the French alps.

What excites you most about participating in the X-Pyr?
Im very excited to see places that you simply wouldn’t see unless you did a race like this! I’m excited for the hard times and the good

What is your best result in a H&F competition so far?
So far winning Bornes to fly 2026 woman’s category.

Have you flown in the Pyrenees before? Do you have a favourite area?
I have never flown in the Pyrenees before which makes this even more of a challenge and fun!

What does your typical training week consist of?
Lots of hike and fly, trail running and cycling. Eating lots of food and a little gym.

What worries you the most about the event?
There will be more days needed to complete the distance than races I have done in the past, so recovery between days will be more important than ever. I hope that I manage to get the recovery I need

Personally, how do you feel differently when you participate in H & F races in comparison to XC competitions?
The freedom to choose your path in the sky and get creative with hike and fly is a really special feeling. The ability to keep the race going even after an unwanted landing is a bonus.

How do you know your supporter? And have your worked as athlete/supporter before?
My supporter is my boyfriend, we have supported each other in different races before.

What advice would you ask of the race veterans?
Which way to go 😂

Without them, the X-Pyr wouldn't exist.
